Artist Reflection Questions

1   Motion Picture

       1. Which picture is the best shot of this assignment? Why? My first shot was the best for this assignment because the amount of detail.

2. Which picture is the weakest shot of this assignment?  Why? The fourth is my weakest shot because it isn't detailed and is bland.

3. How can the weakest image be improved on in future shoots? This can be improved by taking is a shorter picture capturing less.

4. Did you use Photoshop, Lightroom, or both?  What tools in the programs did you use to edit the pictures? I used only Photoshop but is should've also used Lightroom.

5. Explain how were you able to meet the objectives (GOALS) of the assignment? **THE GOAL CHANGES EACH LESSON. **SEE THE EQ ON THE ASSIGNMENT AND ANSWER THAT FOR THIS QUESTION. I met the goal because changing the shutter speed and aperture can either capture multiple scenes in and shot with low shutter speed or catch subjects in their action with high shutter speed.

6. What was easy about this assignment? Why? Editing was the easiest part because some of the pictures were close to perfect.

7. What was difficult about this assignment? Why? Taking the shot and catching the subjects in their action.

8. If you could do this assignment again, what would you do differently? If i was to redo this assignment is would redo my low shutter speed shots again.

9. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being your best effort) how would you rate your effort in this project?  Why would you give yourself that rating? On a scale of 1-10, i would rate my work for this project a 6 because the shots and timing weren't the best.


Depth of field

1. Which picture is the best shot of this assignment? Why. I think my second picture is the best because i has good color contrast and focus. Although is a high depth of field there is still a good amount of visual detail in the low depth area.

2. Which picture is the weakest shot of this assignment?  Why? The first picture is the weakest shot because the focus point what the bar on the door and not out side.

3. How can the weakest image be improved on in future shoots? One way to improve this shot is to find better focus points.

4. Did you use Photoshop, Lightroom, or both?  What tools in the programs did you use to edit the pictures? To edit theses photos I used Photoshop.

5. Explain how were you able to meet the objectives (GOALS) of the assignment? **THE GOAL CHANGES EACH LESSON. **SEE THE EQ ON THE ASSIGNMENT AND ANSWER THAT FOR THIS QUESTION. Changing the aperture changes the depth of field. High depth is a deep focus point. Low depth of field has a low focus depth.

6. What was easy about this assignment? Why? Taking the pictures itself is the easy part. 

7. What was difficult about this assignment? Why? The most difficult part about this assignment is finding the correct aperture but also the one that looks good.

8. If you could do this assignment again, what would you do differently? No, besides redoing 2 pictures.

9. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being your best effort) how would you rate your effort in this project?  Why would you give yourself that rating? I would rate myself a 7 because I feel like I didn't take enough time to take and edit this pictures.
